Barry O’Sullivan

Professor O’Sullivan holds the Chair of Constraint Programming at the Department of Computer Science at University College Cork, Ireland, and is an Adjunct Professor at Monash University in Australia. He is a founding director of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics and a founding principal investigator of the Confirm Centre for Smart Manufacturing, both funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Professor O’Sullivan is a Fellow and the Deputy President of the European Artificial Intelligence Association which has over 4500 members across 30 countries. He is a Member of the Royal Irish Academy.
