Dr Igor Kotsiuba
Dr. Igor Kotsiuba has served for more than a decade in industry and academia and has completed numerous transnational projects with leading players in Cybersecurity. He is a counsellor in government and industry and founder at cybersecurity agency iSolutions. He established a digital forensics lab in Ukraine to build capacity and restore the rule of law in cyberspace. Igor is an evangelist of an inclusive approach to delivering full-stack cybersecurity managed services from initial compromise assessments to digital forensics evidence verifications. He has been advising Ukrainian Businesses and Governmental Institutions on Cybersecurity issues, In the year 2018 Igor Kotsiuba was elected as a Head of Cybersecurity Work Group at the American Chamber of Commerce Ukraine. He is Top 21 Influencer in Cybersecurity to follow in 2021 by EDDA, EU, has been recognized as “Exceptional Talent in Cybersecurity” endorsed by Tech Nation UK, and received Presidential award for young scientists, Ukraine. He is a member of Management Committee of the COST action “Artificial Intelligence for Digital Forensics”, and a member of IEEE. Igor regularly participates in EU-funded research and innovation projects, and is a member in editorial committees of reputable cybersecurity journals and conferences. Igor has been a visiting fellow in Santa Clara University USA, and now a visiting fellow in Durham University Business School where works on Cybersecurity and Risk Science for supra-governmental and corporate institutions. He participates in OASIS OPENC2, Technical Committee on Cybersecurity of Energy Grids. He led cybersecurity topics of EU Projects ALIOT(Cybersecurity of IoT Protocols), SPEAR (Cybersecurity of Smart Energy Grids), RESPONSE(positive smart cities), ELECTRON (Cybersecurity EPES), EFORT(Cybersecurity EPES), NGI ENRICHERS projects. Igor launched and led Digital Forensics Science Lab at PIMEE , National Academy of Sciences, Ukraine under which delivered guest lectures and trainings in Norway, Germany, The Netherlands.
