Dr. Owen Vaughan
Owen Vaughan is the Director of Research at nChain, a global leader in advisory, research, and development of blockchain technologies. He leads a team of over fifteen PhD graduates who are dedicated to improving the plumbing of blockchain. His research interests lie in privacy-preserving computation, blockchain network topology, wallet design and identity management. Owen holds a degree in mathematics from the University of York, a PhD in string theory from the University of Liverpool, and has worked as postdoc in the analysis and differential geometry group at the University of Hamburg.
