I develop concepts for IoT and digitalization to meet the social challenges we have in the environmental field. Oversees various calls at national and EU level to seize ideas from industry and colleagues and then build strong consortia and seek research funding. I’m coordinator for SCOREwater (H2020 Innovation Project) which focuses on enhancing the resilience of cities against climate change and urbanization by enabling a water smart society. The goal of SCOREwater is to develop, collect data and test water-smart digital solutions and best practices to strengthen cities’ resilience focusing on wastewater, flooding and stormwater monitoring and management.

I assist the city of Gothenburg in the coordination of an innovation project called LoV-IoT in which we explore how IoT can be used to improve the environment in the city and make the public aware of environmental pollution, in both air and water, in their vicinity. Another area we work on is innovation management and as an example we have the project Open Waters. In Open Waters we want to explore the opportunities and challenges that comes if and when we were to share data and design in digital twins for critical infrastructure.
