
Haisheng Yu (Johnson)
Dr. Haisheng (Johnson) Yu is mainly engaged in the research of IPv6, DNS, SDN and cloud computing. He received bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees from three top 10 schools in China, namely Harbin Institute of Technology, Peking University and Dalian University of Technology. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the United States and the University of Aizu in Japan. In software-defined networking and cloud computing, he has published more than 20 SCI and EI papers as the first author, including DCN, SOSR, ICPP, MONET, and etc.. As a technical expert, he worked in IBM, CNNIC (China Internet Network Information Center) and Alibaba Group . In DNS research and development, he led China’s largest commercial domain name upgrade project and URL forwarding project. In terms of cloud computing development, he was once responsible for the RDS (Relational Database Service) and EC2 interface in the Aliyun system and the integration of the IBM TAAS (Testing As A Cloud) project. He is the director of Prospective Technology Laboratory, CFIEC (China Future Internet Engineering Center). In terms of standard research and development, he has put forward several standards or drafts in CCSA, ETSI and IETF.
