Dr. Dr. Lutz Peschke earned his first PhD in chemistry in the Department of Environmental and Life Sciences at the Research Center Jülich and the Department of Physical Chemistry at University of Heidelberg, and his second PhD in media studies which is about visual communication and knowledge transfer with help of information graphics in the Department of Media Studies at University of Bonn. Since 1999 he works in different high budget project in the field of Public Understanding of Science and Humanities in Germany and Turkey, e.g. on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Since 2018 he is Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent University in Ankara. He is coordinator of the European Horizon 2020 project “PandeVITA – Pandemic Virus Trace Application for the Effective Knowledge Transfer Between Science and Society Inside the Quadruple Helix Collaboration”.
