Seldag Günes Peschke
Seldağ Güneş Peschke was graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law. She finished her master and phd in Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences. Between 1995-1997, she worked in Privatization Administration as a lawyer. In 1997, she started her academic career in Gazi University Faculty of Law as research assistant. By the scholarship of Italian Government between 2000-2001, she attended graduate programme Corso di Perfezionamento and did her research for phd. in Roma La Sapienza University.
She got scholarships from DAAD and Max Planck Institute between 2006-2012. She worked as guest professor in Bonn University and Cologne University Media Law Institute and gave lectures in Bonn University, Saarland University and Würzburg University Law Faculties (2016-2021). In 2009 she became associate professor in Gazi University Faculty of Law, in 2015 professor in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law. Since February 2015 she is working as Head of Comparative Law in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law. She worked in many EU and Horizon 2020 projects on youth, education, migration, data protection, privacy, ethics, women issues, research integrity. Currently she is the project manager of PANDEVITA at AYBU which is funded by EU under Horizon 2020 for 2021-2023.
She speaks fluent English, German and Italian. She has five books and many articles in national and international journals. She works mainly on comparative law, personality rights, privacy, ethics, data protection, roman law, family law, women studies, citizen science, media law.
