Dr. Soojun Park is an assistant vice president of Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). He is in charge of Welfare & Medical ICT Research Department. Major R&D technologies currently the department is working on include automatic point-of-care diagnosis technology, artificial intelligence technology that predicts the patient’s future status, small/low-cost particle beam generation core technology that precisely targets cancer areas, and intelligent medical image reading technology. His research interests are digital healthcare, precision medicine, AI in bio-medical applications, image processing and text mining.
