Tao Chen
Dr. Tao Chen is a senior researcher at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the honorary professor at University of Kent, UK, and the adjunct professor at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. He has led several EU and national research projects, covering the topics from cognitive radio, green communications, mobile social networks, software defined networking and 5G radio access networks. He was the coordinator of 5G PPP COHERENT project and is the technical manager of H2020 5G-DRIVE. Dr. Chen was the founder and editor-in-chief of EAI Transactions on Cognitive Communications, technical editor of IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, guest editors of IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Access, and Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing journal.
